After editing a story for Business Week Magazine on the Garlic Capital of the World, Gilroy, CA, Charles had a moment of clarity and realized his passion, his "bliss," his "discovery of fire."


Leaving his job at the magazine, he completed a culinary degree at ICE (Institute of Culinary Education) and did stints in NYC restaurants including Lupa, Babbo, and Camaje.  Continuing his culinary exploration after moving to Boston, he began conducting cooking technique classes. 


Now in CT, Charles has connected with a health conscious community of food lovers. He brings his passion of 15 years experience in the culinary world to those who appreciate food and those who want to use their own creativity to cook well with confidence.
